How to Volunteer

By thinking back to those adults who filled our everyday moments with delight or introduced us to amazing new worlds, you can begin to understand the role of the Big Brother, Big Sister volunteer. Regardless of your gender, age, race, social or economic background, you can bring something special into the lives of children. It's not about skill or perfection. It also isn't about "playing the parent." It's about making a difference for a child — and for yourself. As a Big Brother or Big Sister volunteer, You can be the person who brings that magic into the life of a child.
